MTI Corp Lab Tube Induction Melting Furnace MODEL EQP-134
7KW Vacuum Induction Melting System w/ 60mm Tube & Manual Temperature Control - SP-15AB
MANUFACTURER OEM WEBSITE DETAILS
SP-15VIM is an economic vacuum induction heating/melting system with complete accessories, including SP-15AB Induction Heater, Quartz Tube with Flange & Valve, Graphite Crucible & Refractory Assembling, 4L/m Recirculating Water Chiller, Vacuum Pump, and Mobile Cart. It is an ideal tool for researching new metallic alloys with both melting points < 1900ºC and quantity < 100g.
WARNING: Understand the standard procedure for vacuum melting and inert gas melting prior to operation. Read the manual carefully. Monitor and properly control the inside pressure of the reaction vessel at all times during operation. Otherwise, failure of operation may result in irretrievable damage to the equipment or personal injury.

Melting time and temperature are related to materials, the crucible, refractory insulation, etc. If you do not know whether the induction heater can melt your sample or not, please contact our engineer for consulting. Have your alloy's composition, melting point, and quantity to be melted prepared
Please click the picture on the left for the sequence of installation from Flange to Refractory Base
The Induction Melting System is designed for use under vacuum and low pressure < 0.02 MPa / 0.2 Ba. A pressure regulator must be installed on your input gas tank ( click the picture below to review ) and have the output gas pressure set below 3 PSI at all times after opening the gas tank with the gas maintained in a continuous flowing condition. Gas buildup with pressure levels exceeding over 3 PSI may cause irreversible damage to the furnace chamber.
