The Q60 has been developed as a heavy duty automatic labeling head system for integration into high speed, high rate production environments. The labeling head can be configured for either wrap or wipe applications. The Q60 labeler features the M2 microprocessor control, insuring accurate and drift free label application. The Q60 uses a high-torque stepping motor for web drive. The step motor drive system is indexed directly from the M2 controller. This allows for precise adjustment and calibration for any number of applications. In addition, a built in system of fault logic can easily interface with a host of optical sensors.
This high speed labeling system speeds from 200 to 250 ppm. Unlike conventional wrap systems, this vertical roller system uses 4 points of bottle contract to square and align the surface of the container to minimize label spirals. Production rates up to 250 ppm with a +/- 1/32” accuracy are possible with this system.
