This laboratory freezer is general purpose and maintains a temperature range between -15 and -25°C thanks to the cooling evaporator coil shelving and the 1/3 horsepower compressor.These units are ideal when stable temperatures averaging -20°C are required but precise temperature control, maintenance, and alarms are not necessary. These freezers feature a manual defrost design to eliminate damaging temperature spikes from defrost cycles. This ensures valuable sample security. Defrosting of the unit must be performed periodically to prevent severe ice build-up.
